Apologies for such a belated mix... I couldn't even make it in time for #musicmonday! All my time was devoted at the weekend to Talulah Does The Hula's single launch! And a great single launch and bunch o gigs it was.
Back to the mixtape however, this week I've put together a big diverse mix of songs that are singable and pop and fun... not an indie or electro band in sight, in fact, it's really more like a bizarre a trip to the present via the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s... in fact, the only contemporary song in the mix actually sounds like it could be 40 years old... yet somehow, despite the huge differences in all the songs, they all somehow work together - which could be down to the heavy emphasis on the British. Of course we had to end up with a little tribute to MJ, when he was lovely and young and had an innocent soprano.
